Back on the Bike...

My first weight loss journey began back in 2004. I was the size I could live with and be happy with by the year 2007. (See the before & after pictures here) 2007 was a great year for me & my weight loss journey. It was a time in my life where I was making good choices in every aspect of my life. I've come to learn to enjoy the good moments in life because they are typically short. I believe there is a purpose for this. We can not grow without challenges. It tests our character and makes us better people.

I am now beginning my weightloss journey YET again! I actually began my 2nd journey on October 17th, one month ago. I am proud to say I have stuck to my weight loss plan, for the most part. As much as I would love to be able to eat only a RAW diet, It's just not going to happen. I just don't think I could give up my yearly trip to Texas Roadhouse.

Check back weekly for updated workout logs and diet menus! Just keep in mind, Social Work is my career. I am not a trainer, dietician, or therapist. Anything posted is just to spark interest or give a new idea for what is/isn't working for me towards my fitness & nutritional goals.
